The Eileen Conners Elementary PTO would like to welcome all new and returning students and families! For those who may not know, the PTO is an organization of parents and teachers of Conners Elementary School. The PTO’s goal is to foster a nurturing and caring environment that strives for continued parent involvement in helping build a better educational environment for our children. We also promote a school community where teachers and administrators can do their best work with the resources we can provide and help make school fun.
Through fundraising efforts, the PTO is able to donate funds to purchase educational materials and equipment for the school as well as being involved in efforts to help the local community. For the PTO to be effective and truly representative of the school, it is essential to have parental involvement from as many parents as possible.
Many working parents feel that they cannot be included in the PTO because they cannot come to every meeting or be at school during the day. There are endless possibilities in ways you can help. Whatever your own level of flexibility, Conners Elementary PTO always appreciates their parent volunteers.
Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours, your ideas, your time, and your talents are truly needed. We can match your time constraints and interests to needed tasks. We have many ways in which Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents can contribute!!
PTO DOES THAT?!?
Did you know that the PTO raises money to support enrichment programs at our schools? Over the years we have raised money for educational programs and social events. PTO funds are used for great events like BooHool/Yahoo Breakfast for new Kindergarten parents, Snow Making, many school dances, and our annual "Connerval" carnival. We love to spoil our teachers and staff during Staff Appreciation Week and welcome the community back to school with the Ice Cream Social. We also help fund PBIS events, run Fun Treat Friday, and help plan Restaurant dine-out nights!
The PTO receives the majority of its funding through fundraisers. The Family PTO Membership fee helps to kick off our early events. For the 2019/2020 School Year, we had a Crazy Good Popcorn Fundraiser during the first semester, and an Apex Obstacle Course Fun Run in the second semester! Throughout the year we collect Box Tops and run Fun Treat Friday. We’re hoping to do more “Restaurant Dine-Out nights” as well. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are on Amazon Smile and partner with businesses to help fund some programs and events.

Glow Dance 2019
We hope everyone had a blast at our Glow Dance!!!
It was our largest event yet with over 400 people in attendance, beating last years attendance record by over 100 people!
A huge thank you to Mrs. Linde for working with the kids to make our adorable silhouette cutouts, Mrs. Japczyk for helping us decorate and to all of our wonderful parent volunteers for helping us set up, decorate, check in, and clean up!!!
